The location is outside city but still has a few good restaurants that u can visit.

Made famous for its “hills alive with the sound of music”, Salzburg is a very pretty town filled with romantic buildings and squares. If you are not yet aware that Mozart was born here, then you will be as soon as you land at Salzburg W.A. Mozart
International Airport. Further your education about this musical prodigy at his actual birthplace, Mozarts Geburtshaus.
The city is the namesake of the Salzach River which runs through it, and alongside this beautiful river lays the Schloss Mirabell, one of the many impressive castles within the city limits. Schloss Mirabell and Hellbrunn with their picturesque gardens, beautiful galleries and impressive halls make the ideal spot for a picnic during summer.
The white-stone Hohensalzburg fortress is perched upon a green hill and offers magnificent views over the city. Or, you can escape it all in the Kapuzinerberg forest, which offers splendid Alpine vistas- a reminder of Salzburg’s natural beauty.
The shopping centre focuses around Alter Markt Square and Getreidegasse, the latter is a quirky street with old-fashioned signs indicating what each store sells. With 125 hotels and guesthouses available on Booking.com, your stay in Salzburg is bound to be as pleasant as this city is pretty.
Beautiful scenery. Fun Sound of Music tour taken with Panorama tours (I’d recommend them). Lots of interesting places to view and visit. Great for walks and cafe/bar stops along the routes. We went by train to Vienna for a day trip and took a bus tour around the city. A full day and a little tiring but well worth it. Reception staff at the hotel booked the train and taxi tickets for us which was very helpful.

Nice ambience, small area easy to cover on foot.
Nice ambience, small area easy to cover on foot. Friendly young restaurant owners/workers, lots of alt places to check out (Afro Café, Genusswerkstatt) it doesn't always have to be the Sacher!
The rooms were very large and spacious. The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. During the day, the area was nice, it was very close the train station but at night time, it was sketchy around the area, lots of young kids drinking and looking at us funny, one even followed us back to hotel but when my husband confronted him, he left. It was scary but during the day we felt safe and it was fine to walk around. Easy to walk to Maribel Palace and old town Salzburg. Parking was convenient.
The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth. The receptionists were very helpful, assisted us with the purchase of the Salzburg card and provided some suggestions for local restaurants. The hotel was a 10-minute walk to the old town as well as being in close proximity to supermarkets for those wishing to buy local specialties. The room itself was large, quiet, had excellent wifi and was very clean. Definitely worth the stay.
Very affordable and nice hotel for an overnight or two, with a decent location, close to the border with Germany and the airport, but also fairly quick access to the city centre of Salzburg. Breakfast was nice, with plenty of choices, nice coffee too. Room is basic, but clean and pretty comfortable. Although it is a fairly basic hotel, it fulfilled our expectations completely, at an amazing price for Salzburg.
Beautiful historic building with 2 bell towers and lovely courtyard. Spacious room, clean, good breakfast which we could eat indoors or in the courtyard. Pleasant staff - suggested we look at Salzburg card, 30 euro. We did purchase and it easily paid for itself with a few visits. Hotel was in excellent location on Makartplaza - easy access to Mirabell, buses, tours and lock bridge across to old town Salzburg
Good and quiet location, about 5 mins' walk from Salzburg main station. Room is clean and has a kettle. The hotel lift is a welcome sight too. Special mention to the friendly Michala who gave us much recommendations on places to visit, dinner and even the bus services to Old Town where the bus stop is round the corner of hotel, save us from walking 25 mins back and forth during our 3 days' stay.
The hotel's location right by the train tracks was not evident on booking. It's location in New Town was good with lots of shops and restaurants around it. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful but an additional 20 E extra per person per day. The train area was very noisy all night outside the window. We knew it would be a longer walk to the old town of Salzburg.
The hotel was perfectly located for our needs, within walking distance to the station and right on the edge of the old town. Everything we wanted to see and do was within easy reach, the room was quiet and the breakfast options very good. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Salzburg.
Salzburg is a beautiful city and the hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and breakfast were very good. Just felt the room was a bit expensive for what you get, however the hotel overall was very good.
The location of the hotel is lovely, it's on the river just south of the city centre. You can walk along the river into Salzburg in 30 mins and it is a lovely walk. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great with amazing local dishes.
Quaint retro-like hotel within walking distance to the Salzburg Old Town. Very friendly staff and an uncomplicated check-in and check-out. Good value for money. Highly recommended for a night or two in Salzburg. We would definitely return for the next short trip.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the beautiful city of Salzburg. It is very central to the Old Town & staff were all lovely. Special thanks to the man working afternoons/evenings- he was particularly kind & helpful with our requests.
Sound proofing was excellent. The hotel is right next to a busy train station, busy bus station, and a major road. No noise whatsoever. Very modern and clean. Ideally located and a short walk to Salzburg old town. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Very clean and fresh hotel with pleasant design. Small but convenient rooms, excellent breakfast. Perfect location (with parking), the old town is 2 minutes away by foot. Views on the castle and mountains. Dogs are also allowed at an extra cost.
Free teas and coffees in the lovely kitchen. Staff were really helpful and nice. Friendly little hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the old town and Mozart's birthplace. Very cosy for a lovely little base in Salzburg!
If you’d be arriving by train, nothing else beats the location. Across the hotel is the main tram and bus terminals and with Salzburg pass or unli day ticket, going to city center should be a breeze as well.
Clean and trendy boutique hotel. Location was quite convenient and has beautiful views of the river and old town. Breakfast was superb and generous. I would stay here again when in Salzburg.
Lovely high end hotel in Salzburg. Not too far away from the action but enough distance to get some quiet from the tourism beat.
