The service from the family that run the hotel is fantastic. We had a lovely, spacious room with very good wifi. The hotel is spotless and beautifully refurbished in a modern rustic style. There is a small swimming pool in the central patio and a terrace overlooking the rolling countryside. We were served an excellent dinner for a great price. The town is quiet and beautifully preserved. Another boutique gem in Portugal.ClivePortugal

The apartments are very modern and well furnished/decorated and you have all the commodities if you want to stay for more than a couple of days like we did (e.g. there's a small, modern laundry that can be used by all the guests). There's a sunshade and 2 chairs allocated to each apartment on the pool (everyone always has their little space reserved, which is nice). 5m walk from the town center - I have no problem in recommending this place to anyone who wants to visit Castro Verde. :)

We loved the serene and peaceful atmosphere and the amazing view of the houses. There is a lovely view over the surrounding countryside. The accommodation was very comfortable and the hosts were delightful. They left a bottle of rose in the fridge and a little bouquet on the dining table.
